Job Description

Our client is seeking an External Affairs Manager to join their team in Cape Town.  You will be responsible for developing and driving the policy and regulatory narrative for internal and external use,  develop and execute a fiscal affairs strategy, promote rationale principles and policies etc.

• Relevant degree
• Solid legal education/knowledge
• Solid experience as a Senior Manager or Director level experience in leading policy, regulation, fiscal, science, medical engagement strategies
• Experience and direct interaction with government institutions, regulatory authorities and PR/media outfits
• Proven experience in a large multinational company is essential
• High passion for politics and an interest in the wide range of topics and connections between industries
• Very good interpersonal and diplomatic skills, visionary capacity as well as a realistic attitude
