Lead Process Safety Manager – Cape Town

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Lead Process Safety Management to join their team.  You will be responsible for process safety management, risk management, management of change, emergency management etc.

 

  • Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in either Technical or Operations
  • Has a broad level of Process Safety proficiency demonstrated from experience with a good understanding and application of Management of Change, Process Hazard Analysis and Layer of Protection Analysis.
  • Has comprehensive technical and operational knowledge as it relates to Process Safety issues across multiple facilities, processes or critical equipment
  • Clearly communicates technical and business detail as it pertains to Process Safety
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to all levels of management
  • Skill Proven skills in; Facilitation, Incident investigation, Communication. Understanding of Management of Change, Process Hazard Analysis and Layer of Protection Analysis.
  • Good understanding of OHS Act, Major Hazard Installation Regulations
