Job Description

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking an HR Manager to join their team on a contract basis.  You will be responsible for driving the execution and general advisory on core human resources services and solutions along the employee life cycle. If you possess a broad knowledge of human resources function, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to development, if you have a passion for HR, and are familiar with labour law and look to broaden and advance your career in the field, this is the place to be.

 

  • 8+ years Human Resources or equivalent experience as HR Partner, Manager or Generalist
  • Sound demonstrable knowledge of human resources core topics (recruitment, performance, reward, development etc.)
  • Solid experience of local legislation, benefits, and market trends
  • Demonstrable track record of working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong coaching, interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Experience in working in global organizations with matrix organizational set up (preferable)
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in talent forums, skills and employment equity forums, Board of directors and other executive committees
  • Ability to rigorously implement end to end HR on time and with a can-do attitude. Flexibility to adjust to changing situations, prioritizing workload, maintaining a positive attitude
  • Confident with technology, applications and have ability to interpret and draw from data
  • Challenge behavior that lacks integrity and support others who do the same
