Corporate Communications Manager – Cape Town

Job Description

Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join their team.  You will be responsible for working  closely with internal partners locally and with global operations as well as external partners and agencies.

Must have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in communications at senior corporate or agency level
  • University degree in Communications, PR, Marketing or related field
  • Skilled at content development for multiple communications channels, copywriting and editing especially for earned media
  • Consistent track record in public relations and media engagement
  • Experience in content marketing, running paid, earned, owned and social campaigns is a plus
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken with outstanding presentation skills
  • Passionate about communications and corporate reputation, with validated experience crafting unique messages for a wide range of audiences, including customers, partners, policymakers, and employees
  • Experience with measurable goal setting using data and important metrics to run the effectiveness of projects and initiatives
