Job Description
Our client in the academic sector is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team on a contract basis. The main purpose of this position is to provide an efficient and effective finance administration function and support the Finance Officer in related activities. The main function is to provide a purchasing service to the department that ensures management of budgets and allocation of costs as per unit budgets.
NQF4 – An appropriate accounting qualification (Finance Diploma or General Administrative Diploma), OR equivalent experience, equating to 3-4 years with similar/same responsibilities as sought for this position
A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, junior-to-middle level with well-developed administrative skills, and exposure to various aspects of administration and finance.
Computer literacy – MS Excel and ERP systems experience essential, SAP
