Job Description
Our client is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to join their team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, managing and directing of all maintenance activities and operations for Residences and Commercial Kitchens. Pertaining to Residences Maintenance, the incumbent will manage maintenance projects and programmes in line with the regulatory framework, health and safety standards and strategic plans of the department and will also be required to negotiate and manage various construction, renovation or refurbishment projects necessary to ensure a high level of availability, reliability, safety and operational performance of all assets, buildings, plant and infrastructure
A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech in the Engineering or Built Environment Field (NQF Level 7)
- 8 to 10 years appropriate experience, of which 3 (three) years was a management level.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and Maintenance procedures, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act compliance and knowledge of Management processes.
- Computer literate
- Available immediately
