Accounting & Reporting Analyst – 6 month contract – Cape Town

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Analyst to join their team on a 6 month contract.  You will ensure that financial records are maintained properly and accurately and are compliant with SA Statutory & Tax requirements, Labour Acts, US GAAP and the clients policies and procedures and leads statutory activities including financial audits and regulatory reporting.

Bachelor in Finance, Professional Accounting Qualification is required (CA, ACCA or CIMA is preferred)

Min 3 years experience in external audit & 2 years commercial experience ideally in a FMCG/Costing environment is non-negotiable

Knowledge of accounting principles knowledge of financial analysis (balance sheet and P&L)

Experience in SAP and Excel Advanced required
